Roles and responsibilitiesHi,
Monitor the clients infrastructure, including:
Network health and devices
Website, email, database, and dedicated servers
Multiple Data Centers and Customer Care Centers
Clients website availability
Facilitate 24/7 monitoring services, provide incident triage, and manage incident resolution
React quickly to any operational issues that may affect company objectives, and align resources to resolve issues.
Assist in creating and establishing policies and procedures for the Command Center/NOC
3-5 years experience as a senior member of an IT Service Desk, NOC, or Command Center position
Experience working in a high availability (5 9's) environment
3-5 years experience with common Internet technologies including: DNS, HTTP, FTP, SSH, RDP
Familiar with enterprise network monitoring tools
Demonstrate understanding of network communication fundamentals.
Must possess significant troubleshooting abilities, and be a creative problem solver with the ability to develop "out of the box" solutions.
Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision required.
Personal computer skills including working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software required.
Experience with trouble ticketing systems.
Certification in one of the following:
Linux RHCT and/or Windows MCSA Certification
Network+ and/or CCNA Certification
